What Is a Student Permit?

A Student Permit allows foreign nationals to study legally in Namibia at a registered and accredited educational institution, including schools, colleges, universities, vocational centres and training institutions. NAMVISA provides end-to-end assistance from eligibility checks to successful approval.

Who Needs a Student Permit?

You need a Student Permit if you are a non-Namibian intending to enrol in primary or secondary school, study at a college, university or vocational institution, attend professional training or long-term academic programs, or study for more than 90 days in Namibia.
